If you did not aerate your lawn last year or chose not to because of the inconvenience or mess caused by mechanical aeration, organic aeration could be the answer. Spring and Fall Cleanup

We can help by blowing out your gardens and landscape beds by vacuuming up all your leaves on your lawn. A thick healthy lawn combats the invasion of nuisance weeds.

Spring Fertilizer Applications

Spring Fertilizer (April – June) applications will be formulated for quick green-up and to promote top growth. We begin applying this as soon as the snow is gone and the ground begins to firm up.

Summer Fertilizer Applications

Summer Fertilizer (June – August) applications consist of a slow release fertilizer with micronutrients to promote plant health and steady feeding and can be applied as a liquid or granular fertilizer.

Fall Fertilizer Applications

Fall Fertilizer (August – October) applications consist of a well balanced fertilizer to help with root development for the upcoming winter and can be applied as a liquid or granular fertilizer.

Late Fall Fertilizer Applications

Late Fall Fertilizer (October – November) applications are used when you want a quick green up in the spring of the year. We apply this toward the end of the growing season so that the plant will have stored energy in the root system for the following year. The fertilizer is formulated to promote root growth and early green-up. We apply this as a granular fertilizer.

Crabgrass Control Applications

Crabgrass is an annual grass that grows from seed each season. The crabgrass plant naturally dies every fall, leaving behind thousands of seeds. Population growth becomes exponential each season if left untreated. If you have a crabgrass problem, it is imperative to sign up for a Crabgrass Pre-Emergent application to prevent seeds from germinating. Typically you will start seeing crabgrass germinate at the beginning of June or when the soil temperature warms up enough to be suitable for germination. Crabgrass does well in full sun. Keeping an eye out in those thin hot spots, high traffic areas, and along driveways and sidewalks. Keep in mind, if you plan on seeding your lawn during the growing season, do not sign up for the pre-emergent, as this product does not know the difference between desirable and non-desirable grass seeds. Crabgrass Pre-Emergent and Fertilizer

Crabgrass Pre-Emergent and Fertilizer (April – May) application is a well balanced fertilizer with crabgrass pre-emergent that can be applied either in liquid or granular form. You should expect to get 85 to 95% control of your crabgrass.

Crabgrass Pre-Emergent, Broadleaf Weed Control and Fertilizer

Crabgrass Pre-Emergent, Broadleaf Weed Control and Fertilizer (April – May) is our 3-way application applied either in liquid or granular form. We will be applying a well balanced fertilizer with crabgrass pre-emergent. You should expect to get 85 to 95% control of your crabgrass. Along with the pre-emergent will we include a liquid broad spectrum weed control, good for combating dandelions and other broadleaf perennial weeds.

Crabgrass Post-Emergent

Crabgrass Post-Emergent application is applied when your crabgrass has germinated and is actively growing. We apply this before the plant has a chance to go to seed and repopulate the following year. This becomes an important addition to the pre-emergent applications to clean up the 5-15% of seeds that can germinate. This is also a good application if you or our applicators notice crabgrass coming up for the first time. This will help prevent establishment in your lawn. This application is completed by spot spraying crabgrass plants only.

Broadleaf Weed Control Applications

A broadleaf weed is a weed that stands out in your lawn because it does not resemble grass and can be difficult to control. Some common broadleaf weeds our customers ask us to treat include Dandelions, Creeping Charlie, Plantain, Chickweed, Black Medic, Wild Geranium, Clover, Dollarweed, Knotweed, Pineapple Weed, Purslane, Thistle, Spurge, and Woodsorrel. Broadleaf weeds can be perennial or annual plants, and with our programs, we can help you get them under control.

We offer two different broadleaf weed control program options. Customers may pick and choose or follow our recommendation upon evaluating your lawn. The first program option is your traditional “weed & feed” application that includes broadleaf control with fertilizer. The second is a broadleaf only program.

Weed & Feed Program

Spring Weed & Feed

Spring Weed and Feed (May – June) is the application most people associate with taking care of Dandelions; however, we use a broad spectrum application good for combating Dandelions and most nuisance perennial broadleaf weeds.

Early Summer Weed & Feed

Early Summer Weed and Feed (June – July) application consists of a slow-release fertilizer with micronutrients to promote plant health and steady feeding and can be applied as a liquid or granular fertilizer. The weed control component consists of a broad spectrum weed control geared for Dandelions, Oxalis, Clover, and many other broadleaf annual and perennial weeds. If Clover is one of your concerns, be sure to sign up for this application, as it is easiest to control Clover at this time.

We will also be putting down a broad spectrum broadleaf weed control; this is the most important application in combating Dandelions for the following year. It is also good for reducing the Creeping Charlie population in your yard.

Broadleaf Only Program

Spring Broadleaf (May – June) is the application most people associate with taking care of Dandelions. However, we use a broad spectrum application good for combating Dandelions and most nuisance perennial broadleaf weeds.

Summer Broadleaf

Summer Broadleaf (June – July) application consists of a broad spectrum weed control geared for Dandelions, Oxalis, Clover, and many other broadleaf annual and perennial weeds. If Clover is one of your concerns, be sure to sign up for this application, as it is easiest to control Clover at this time.

Fall Broadleaf

Fall Broadleaf (August – October) application consists of a broad spectrum broadleaf weed control; this is the most important application in combating Dandelions for the following year. It is also good for reducing the Creeping Charlie population in your yard.

All Broadleaf applications will be applied as a liquid.

Insect Control Applications

Insect Control application is designed to take care of nuisance pests such as grubs and billbugs. This application generally requires a visit to your property to diagnose your insect problems. Time of year and type of insect will guide our application decisions. If you have had insect problems in the past, we can apply an insecticide as a preventive measure. If you are currently experiencing insect problems in your lawn, we can apply insecticide as a curative measure.

Fungus Control Applications

Fungus Control application will help get rid of the fungus in your yard, keep the disease from spreading, and ensure your lawn’s health. If you have had a fungus problem in the past, we can offer you a preventative fungus control option. If you think you may have this problem, our professionals will be able to look at your lawn and diagnose the problem to ensure the proper solution is applied.

Roundup Application

Roundup is a non-selective herbicide that will kill or badly injure any plant it comes in contact with. If you have an area that needs new seeding, we can make a complete kill to get started. Do you have overgrown rip rap areas or cracks in your walkways and driveways that need to be cleaned up? Even though Roundup is common, it can create a lot of damage if not careful. It’s best to leave it up to the professionals.

Ground Sterilization

Ground Sterilization application can be made on gravel walkways and driveways, outside storage areas, around buildings, cattle or horse arenas, or over complete gravel parking lots. This application is guaranteed for a growing season to keep unwanted weeds away.
